Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer for prestigious villa projects in Dubai. You will lead QA/QC activities, develop and monitor the PQP, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and UAE standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, 8+ years of construction experience, strong leadership, and ability to coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, QA/QC procedures, and ISO 9001 requirements.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 30 days or less are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA/QC procedures.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and applicable standards.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).
• Conduct inspections for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Monitor subcontractors' quality performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Raise, monitor, and close NCRs, CARs, and quality observations.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project teams during inspections and quality audits.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, quality records, and project reports.
• Support project handover by ensuring all quality documentation is complete.
