Job summary

GMG is seeking a skilled Quality Control Officer to join its Private Label team in Dubai. The role focuses on creating product specifications, evaluating samples, and coordinating with factories and labs to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Textile Technology or related field, hands-on QA experience across apparel and non-apparel, and strong knowledge of AQL and regional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality control or assurance roles.
• Preferably with sportswear, athleisure, or retail brands.
• Hands-on experience with vendor quality evaluation, sample review and product inspections.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product specifications, technical packs and measurement charts.
• Evaluate submitted samples for alignment with specifications and tolerances.
• Coordinate with factories and third-party labs for testing and report validation.
• Set up and maintain Quality SOPs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with Design, Product Development and Sourcing to ensure quality inputs from development to production.
