Job summary

• Conduct and manage fit sessions across relevant product categories.
• Evaluate garment balance, proportions, measurements, comfort, construction, and overall fit during sample reviews.
• Record accurate fit comments and communicate required amendments clearly to vendors and factories.
• Provide technical feedback regarding garment construction, workmanship, finishing, measurements, and production feasibility.
• Review revised samples and confirm whether requested technical corrections have been completed.

Role Context The Garment Technologist will provide the technical link between product design and commercial production, ensuring apparel concepts can be manufactured consistently without compromising fit, quality, compliance, or construction standards. The role covers technical documentation, sample evaluation, fit sessions, vendor communication, fabric and laboratory testing, production troubleshooting, and bulk quality monitoring.
