The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the highest quality standards by implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes. This role involves conducting audits, analyzing quality data, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with various departments to drive continuous quality enhancements. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of quality control methodologies and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct internal audits, inspections, and assessments to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
Analyze quality data, trends, and reports to identify root causes of defects and recommend process improvements.
Oversee product testing and validation processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in production.
Train employees on quality standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
Monitor and improve quality control processes by implementing new technologies and methodologies.
Ensure all quality documentation, records, and certifications are maintained accurately and up to date.
Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices to enhance quality assurance strategies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing, healthcare, or technology industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and process improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with different departments.
Certification in quality management is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
