Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer Painting & Coating for a 24-month project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering. Key responsibilities include coordinating painting specifications and ensuring quality standards are met on-site.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior QA/QC Engineer Painting & Coating for one of our clients with the following details:

Duration: 24 months

Expected start date: 01/07/2025

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Site based)

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Relevant Experience: +10 Years Minimum in Oil & Gas project
• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or metallurgical or relevant engineering degree
• Knowledge about NDT/Coating & Painting

Activities:

• Elaborating and coordinating the Painting specification, and codes/ standards.
• Coordination with concerned parties for all Painting procedure specifications.
• Review course and effects of painting / coating defects and take remedial
• Coordinate with the field sub-contractors and third-Party Inspection Company for coating related issues.
• Witnessing any remedial repair for coating.
• Reviewing of the summary reports. Advising the site subcontractors with regards to Painting and testing. Recording and
• listing of defective painting.
• Monitor the control and issue of painting material. Control the QC site inspection for painting.
• Review manufacturing and other testing procedures from vendors. Liaison with ADNOC Quality Engineers
• Ensuring that the site quality records are properly collated and integrated into the Construction Quality Record Books. Quality KPI and performance Reporting.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project QAQC Manager
