Senior QA/QC Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

Job summary

AECOM is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System for major infrastructure works in Al Ain. You will ensure compliance with contract requirements, drawings, and international standards throughout construction, testing, commissioning, handover and close-out.

You will collaborate with Resident Engineer, Materials Engineer, contractors, authorities, and labs to foster quality culture, drive continuous improvement, and ensure timely quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) certification preferred.
• 10–15 years QA/QC on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in roads, utilities, water, and transport projects.
• Experience with UAE authority requirements.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate inspections, witness testing, review reports.
• Manage NCRs, SORs, and corrective action close-out.
• Oversee material approvals and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with client, authorities, and labs on quality matters.
