Senior QA/QC Engineer – Architectural & ID Finishes | UAE

Are you a quality-focused construction professional with an eye for detail, a passion for finishes, and a drive to deliver premium project outcomes? ALEC is looking for a Senior QA/QC Engineer to oversee Architectural and Interior Design (ID) quality control across our high-end projects.

Your Role

As a Senior QA/QC Engineer, you will lead the quality assurance and control strategy across luxury architectural and ID finishes. You’ll play a key role in site surveillance, inspection oversight, subcontractor coordination, and driving ALEC’s digital QA/QC transformation. With hands-on engagement and an in-depth understanding of construction practices, you’ll be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, compliance with specifications, and the highest standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities for Architectural and ID finishes, ensuring compliance with project specifications and luxury quality standards
• Coordinate and review QA/QC submittals, ITPs, material samples, and shop drawings
• Perform detailed site surveillance to proactively identify quality issues and resolve them before escalation
• Track inspection schedules, monitor deliverable timelines, and ensure closure of outstanding QA/QC items
• Guide and support subcontractors and execution teams on quality procedures, international standards, and local authority requirements
• Drive snagging and de-snagging processes using digital platforms alongside site teams and consultants
• Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance against project quality metrics
• Ensure complete and timely submission of QA/QC documentation, O&M manuals, warranties, and handover records
• Apply innovative thinking and problem-solving to overcome on-site constraints and meet delivery milestones
• Support ALEC’s Smart Goals through data-driven QA/QC strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead the integration of digital tools in everyday QA/QC workflows and reporting processes

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 5–10 years’ experience in large-scale construction, with proven expertise in high-end finishes and quality control
• Strong working knowledge of local authority regulations and international QA/QC standards
• Hands-on experience with digital QA/QC systems (Aconex, BIM 360, PMWeb, etc.)
• Technical understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and architectural detailing
• Proactive mindset with strong analytical and communication skills
• Team-oriented leadership with a focus on collaboration and accountability
• Commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous professional growth
