Job description

We are looking for Senior ICSS Engineering Services for one of our clients with the following details :

Status : Resident

Start Date : JULY 2024

Duration : 1 year with possibility for extensions

Qualifications & Experience Required :

• In Control System and Instrumentation in oil & gas project / industry specially for onshore fields.
• In project at all life-cycle stages of project development (Basic and Detailed Engineering)
• Proficient to the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry i.e. API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA.
• Adept at designing and engineering for the Instruments and control systems like DCS (Conventional & Field bus), Fire & Gas, Safety shutdown systems, Remote telemetry units, Gas metering systems, SMART instruments, Liquid metering systems, Multiphase flow meter, High integrity pressure protection systems (HIPPS), HVAC, field instruments like transmitters, Control valves, Shut down Valves and Choke Valves.
• Strong knowledge with International Structural codes (i.e. API, AISC, DNV, Eurocode) and TOTAL General Specifications related to structures.

The service will include the following missions / Activities :

• Supervision and coordination of ICSS Engineering of EPC Contractors.
• Project and cost management in liaison with other disciplines.
• Technical papers preparation to support management position for clarifications / decisions with regulatory authorities of host countries, other entities or partners.
• Deviation requests coordination to the project referential, in a timely manner and with due consideration to cost and schedule.
• Participation during key project reviews, plot plan reviews, HAZOP reviews, constructability review and design / model review meetings.
• Review of ICSS documents in accordance with industry standards, codes and Company specifications such as drawing, calculation note.
• Ensure the respect of the technical rules on construction discipline (correct usage of Company General Specifications and international norms) in ICSS.
• Ensure all interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly engineered.
• Support to possible technical queries and derogations to Project specifications (technical, costs, planning, interfaces, reporting).
• Contribution to the evaluation of engineering, procurement, construction, installation and review / approval of deliverables from the design contractor - Engineering drawings, calculation notes, specifications, procedures.
• To comply with HSE requirements and to support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives.
• To support and implement the Project HSE management system (plans, procedure and specifications.
