The role collaborates with PCM, regional heads, actuaries, engineers, brokers and claims managers to price risks, broaden the customer base and align with financial targets. The position emphasizes strong underwriting expertise, market knowledge and effective communication to drive strategic decisions and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in CP underwriting, insurance industry knowledge and claims experience.
• Strong knowledge of risk evaluation and pricing.
• Extensive underwriting market knowledge and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewal portfolio and secure new business accounts.
• Achieve budgeted top line and bottom line results with sound underwriting decisions.
• Educate local business community on property products and conduct presentations/seminars for clients.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory environment to ensure underwriting compliance.
• Report on budget metrics and prepare forecasts; track production and performance metrics.
• Build strong relationships with clients and brokers and participate in meetings with industry stakeholders.
