Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Projects Manager (Buildings) to lead a team of Consultants, Contractors and Project Managers through Design, Construction and Defects Liability, reporting to the Project Director.

Requires 20+ years in building projects, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and strong Project Management knowledge. Fluent English is essential; Arabic is preferred. You will drive milestones, resolve issues, and ensure quality, cost and schedule across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of experience in Building projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of Project Management principles.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Consultants, Contractors, and Project Managers, reporting to the Project Director.
• Manage delivery of road and bridge projects, ensuring issues affecting cost, time, and quality are resolved.
• Supervise Consultants, Contractors, and Project Managers to meet milestones.
• Attend meetings with Consultants, Contractors, Authorities, Utilities Providers and stakeholders.
• Review technical, commercial, and planning contractor submittals and approve or endorse accordingly.
• Provide innovative solutions to project issues impacting cost, time, and quality.

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Project Manager specializing in Buildings to join our PMC Team! In this role, you will lead a team of Consultants, Contractors, Construction & Project Managers and report to the Project Director. You will be responsible for the successful management and delivery of multiple projects through all stages, including Design, Construction, and the Defects Liability Period.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead a team of Consultants, Contractors, and Project Managers, and report to the Project Director.
• Manage the delivery of road and bridge projects, ensuring that any issues impacting cost, time, and quality are resolved efficiently.
• Supervise Consultants, Contractors, and Project Managers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Attend meetings with Consultants, Contractors, Authorities, Utilities Providers, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Provide innovative solutions to project issues that may affect cost, time, and quality.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Minimum of 20 years of experience in relevant works, specifically in Building projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of Project Management principles.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
