Job description

AECOM is seeking a Site-Based Senior Project Surveyor responsible for delivering projects across the full spectrum of cost management activities, managing a team with minimal supervision.

Role and Responsibilities

• Specialize in Post-Contract Cost Consultancy services for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Support clients across a portfolio of projects to ensure smooth management.
• Manage a team delivering post-contract cost management services including:
• Payment certifications
• Management and assessment of variations
• Claim avoidance
• Budget tracking
• Cost reporting
• Risk management
• Negotiations and final account
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on small and medium-sized projects.
• Be accountable for multiple deliverables throughout the project lifecycle within an end market sector.
• Brief the team on project scopes to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.
• Manage resources across projects within established budgets.
• Deliver funder advisory services throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality control and procedural compliance.
• Assist with benchmarking data collection and internal reporting.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their development, including involvement in graduate programs.
• Monitor and manage team performance to ensure project success and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related construction field.
• Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS).

Experience

• 8-10 years postgraduate experience.
• 4-5 years of experience in the Middle East.
