Job summary

Mace is delivering a major expansion programme in Dubai, transforming a flagship development into a world-leading events and exhibitions destination. We are seeking an experienced senior project manager to lead the delivery of major high-value car parking projects from concept design through design development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in civil engineering, construction management or related built-environment discipline.
• Chartered membership (CIOB, RICS, ICE, APM or PMP) is advantageous.
• Significant experience delivering large, complex building or infrastructure projects in a senior project management capacity.
• Experience across design development, procurement and construction delivery, not just construction-stage management.
• Experience within a PMC, consultancy, developer or major project environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary design coordination and construction interfaces.
• Experience of major parking structures, transport facilities, podiums, complex concrete structures or similar large-scale assets would be highly advantageous.
• Previous UAE or wider GCC major-project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for successful delivery of major car parking projects from concept design through completion and handover.
• Supervise development from concept through detailed design, ensuring alignment with requirements, programme, budget and buildability.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design consultants across architecture, structural, civil, MEP, transport and related disciplines.
• Drive design reviews, value engineering, constructability reviews and resolution of key technical issues.
• Develop procurement and packaging strategy with commercial, procurement and technical teams.
• Support tendering, contractor selection, technical evaluations and contract award.
• Establish and manage project delivery strategy, programme, milestones and interfaces.
• Direct appointed contractors through mobilisation, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage project risks, change, programme performance and delivery constraints.
• Coordinate with commercial, design, planning, HSW, and quality teams.
• Manage interfaces with surrounding infrastructure, access, utilities and adjacent development packages.
• Chair project meetings, report and escalate key issues.
• Ensure delivery meets safety, quality, programme and commercial performance.

We are seeking an experienced senior project manager to lead the delivery of major high-value car parking projects from concept design through design development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

This is a senior project management position requiring strong experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects and the ability to lead consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• .Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of major car parking projects from concept design through to completion and handover.
• .Supervising the development of the existing concept design through detailed design, ensuring alignment with project requirements, programme, budget and buildability.
• .Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design consultants across architecture, structural, civil, MEP, transport, and specialist disciplines.
• .Driving design reviews, value engineering, constructability reviews, and resolution of key technical and interface issues.
• .Developing the procurement and packaging strategy in conjunction with commercial, procurement, and technical teams.
• .Supporting tendering, contractor selection, technical evaluations, and contract award.
• .Establishing and managing the overall project delivery strategy, programme, key milestones, and critical interfaces.
• .Directing appointed contractors through mobilisation, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• .Managing project risks, change, programme performance and delivery constraints.
• .Coordinating closely with commercial, design, planning, HSW, and quality teams.
• .Managing interfaces with surrounding infrastructure, access, utilities, public realm, and adjacent development packages.
• .Chairing project meetings, reporting and escalation of key issues.
• .Ensuring delivery achieves the required standards of safety, quality, programme and commercial performance.

You’ll need to have:

• .Degree qualified in civil engineering, construction management, project management, or a related built-environment discipline.
• .Professional membership or chartership such as CIOB, RICS, ICE, APM or PMP is advantageous.
• .Significant experience delivering large, complex building or infrastructure projects in a senior project management capacity.
• .Strong experience across design development, procurement, and construction delivery, rather than purely construction-stage management.
• .Experience within a PMC, consultancy, developer or major project environment preferred.
• .Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary design coordination and construction interfaces.
• .Experience of major parking structures, transport facilities, podiums, complex concrete structures or similar large-scale assets would be highly advantageous.
• .Strong contractor, consultant, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• .Previous UAE or wider GCC major-project experience preferred.
