We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong technical background in infrastructure and/or master planning to lead and oversee the design of complex Land Development projects in the UAE.

The successful candidate will have extensive planning/design-stage project management experience as well as a strong technical understanding in Land Development disciplines (master planning, infrastructure, transport planning, landscaping, sustainability). The ideal candidate will possess UAE planning/design experience with the knowledge, skills and expertise to lead multi-disciplinary land development teams and drive internationally significant land development projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership – Lead and manage Land Development master planning and design projects (Master Planning, Transport Planning, Roads, Utilities, Landscape), ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Team Management – Build and lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, mentorship and motivation to team members to achieve project goals.
• Client Interaction – Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understand their needs and ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations while aligning with project budgets.
• Cost and Resource Management – Develop project budgets, monitor and control expenditures, and allocate resources efficiently to optimise project outcomes.
• Risk Management – Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Scope and Schedule Management – Develop a work breakdown structure for the project, create schedules, monitor and control project progress against schedule. Ensure scope and deliverables are well defined and variance and scope creep are identified; change is documented and managed.
• Quality Management – Manage and control quality on the project by implementing WSP processes and templates and instilling and maintaining a quality culture across the project.
• Procurement Management – Apply commercial and legal acumen to manage procurement activities on the project, ensuring main agreement execution, change control and supplier/subcontractor appointments.
• Stakeholder and Communication Management – Establish stakeholder and communication management plans. Ensure communication flows efficiently and accurately according to business protocols, evaluating stakeholder power and influence and ensuring relevant feedback is considered and requisite approvals sought.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience on the planning and design of large and complex Land Development projects in the UAE.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Land Development discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering, Utilities, Roads, Transport Planning, Master Planning).
• Degree in Land Development discipline preferred (e.g. Civil Engineering, Utilities, Roads, Transport Planning, Master Planning).
