Job Description

The Aerospace & Defense Global Delivery practice is responsible for delivering IFS Cloud implementation and Success services to six main sub-industries within A&D: Airlines, Aviation Support Providers, MRO Providers, Manufacturers, Defence Contractors, and Defence Forces. Our global team executes projects of various sizes and supports Success engagements, relying on experienced consultants and project managers specialized in our solutions and delivery processes.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. As a key member, you will lead and manage complex, strategic projects that drive our company's growth and success.

1. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
3. Lead cross-functional and multi-location teams, fostering collaboration and high performance to achieve project objectives.
4. Engage with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
5. Analyze project data and metrics to identify improvement areas and implement best practices.
6. Mentor and guide junior project managers, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team capabilities.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement of project management methodologies and processes.
8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
9. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues impacting project success.
10. Ensure project alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
11. Proactively identify and communicate opportunities and solutions to create efficiencies and value for customers.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience (10+ years) in managing mid to large-scale projects, preferably in commercial carriers, MRO, or OEM environments.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
3. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and traditional approaches.
5. Experience in systems and data integration projects.
6. Deep understanding of core corporate platforms, especially SaaS solutions.
7. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.
8. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
9. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
10. Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
11. Expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies.
12. Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
13. Adaptability and resilience to handle changing priorities and project demands.
