Job description

Required Qualifications and Project Experience:

• A Master’s degree (MSc) in transport planning, business development, or a related discipline from an internationally recognized university.

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the development and management of operations for large public transport utilities.

• At least two major projects involving the design and/or operational management of high-capacity (>5,000 passengers per hour per direction) mass transit systems, such as inland water transport (IWT), metro/tram/monorail, or bus rapid transit (BRT).

• Demonstrated experience in projects funded by international financial institutions (IFIs) in developing countries.

• Proven expertise in project management.

Key Tasks:

• Assume overall and full responsibility for ensuring that all PMOD deliverables for the OMI EKO project are completed with quality, on schedule, and within budget.

• Lead and manage the PMOD project team.

• Serve as the primary liaison with LASWA, AFD, co-financiers, and the EPCS Consultant.

• Coordinate and manage all relevant stakeholders.

• Prepare and submit progress reports to LASWA, AFD, and other relevant parties as required.

• Supervise institutional strengthening and capacity-building initiatives for LASWA staff.
