Job summary

Cognite is seeking a Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of complex AI-enabled industrial projects in Abu Dhabi and beyond. You will own scope, schedule, and outcomes, coordinating with architects, engineers and data scientists while ensuring value realization for customers.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and risks, and guide adoption with change management and training. Travel up to 25% is expected, with opportunity to shape Cognite’s delivery practices globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience delivering complex software, SaaS, cloud or enterprise technology implementation projects.
• Experience managing enterprise or industrial digital transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholders and technical workstreams.
• Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data architecture and enterprise systems, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams and informed decision‑making.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, revenue recognition, margin management and project profitability.
• Experience within one or more industrial sectors, including Energy, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Power & Renewables or Life Sciences.
• Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and project governance frameworks such as Scrum, PMP or PRINCE2.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across technical teams, customers and executive stakeholders.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and managing risks, dependencies and scope changes while ensuring appropriate governance and transparency.
• Supporting customer adoption through change management, enablement and training while recognising opportunities to expand customer value.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of delivery practices by applying Cognite’s PMO methodologies, playbooks and lessons learned.
