Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead/Senior Project Manager with a strong background in the hospitality sector for an international leading PMC based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pre- and post-contract phases, specifically within hotel development projects. This role requires a professional with a solid UAE-based track record, expertise in Project Management Consultancy (PMC), and a deep understanding of local regulations and market dynamics.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the full lifecycle of luxury hotel projects, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project objectives.
2. Lead and coordinate pre-contract activities, including feasibility studies, project planning, tendering, and contract negotiations.
3. Manage post-contract execution, including construction oversight, quality control, cost management, and project delivery.
4. Collaborate with developers, contractors, designers, and consultants to ensure timely project execution within budget and quality standards.
5. Develop project strategies, schedules, and risk assessments to mitigate potential challenges.
6. Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
7. Drive stakeholder engagement and manage client relationships effectively, serving as the primary point of contact.
8. Oversee financial performance, including budget tracking, cost control, and procurement processes.
9. Implement and uphold best practices in project governance, reporting, and documentation.
10. Mentor and lead project teams, ensuring high performance and professional development.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in Project Management within the hospitality/hotel sector.
3. Proven track record in PMC roles handling both pre- and post-contract phases.
4. Extensive UAE experience with strong knowledge of local construction regulations, contracts (FIDIC), and procurement processes.
5. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
6. Strong financial acumen with expertise in cost management, budgeting, and value engineering.
7. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.
8. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multicultural teams and high-profile clients.
