Job summary

KBR Corporate – Inhouse Engineering in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate FEED, Detailed Design and EPCM delivery across multi-disciplinary teams. The role interfaces with project management, engineering disciplines, procurement and the client to ensure safe, cost-effective execution.

15+ years in oil & gas with experience in FEED, Detailed Design and EPCM is required; UAE/Middle East experience and brownfield knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in oil and gas, with FEED, Detailed Design or EPCM delivery.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on major capital projects.
• FEED-to-EPC transitions and UAE/Middle East project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate FEED/Detail engineering activities across disciplines to deliver in-scope packages.
• Act as key interface between project management, engineering, controls, procurement, construction, and the customer.
• Support development and maintenance of project execution plans, schedules, deliverable registers, and progress reports.
• Monitor engineering progress, schedule performance, resource usage and risks; support recovery actions.
• Coordinate technical reviews and ensure issues are resolved and closed to project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, QA/QC processes and HSE expectations.
