Job summary

KBR Corporate - Inhouse Engineering in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the safe, efficient delivery of Pre-FEED through EPCM projects in the oil and gas sector. The role coordinates multidisciplinary engineering activities and interfaces to align scope, schedule, cost, quality and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer registration is desirable.
• Project management or discipline-specific qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience with oil and gas codes and standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design and EPCM.
• Interface with project management, engineering, controls, procurement, construction and customers.
• Maintain schedules, deliverable registers, trackers and reports.
• Monitor progress, resources and scope, escalating issues.
• Coordinate reviews and close out actions for deliverables.
• Support engineering changes, scope growth, and risk management.
• Participate in HAZID/HAZOP/SIL and constructability reviews.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, codes, QA/QC and HSE.
• Coordinate vendor interfaces and support bid evaluations.
• Support construction, commissioning, handover and close-out.
