Job summary

Innovo Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Agriculture) to plan, coordinate, and supervise agricultural and softscape works on landscape projects in Dubai. You will ensure planting, irrigation, soil prep, and horticultural activities meet design specs and quality standards on-site.

The role requires coordinating with project teams, consultants, and suppliers, providing on-site technical support, monitoring progress, and ensuring sustainable landscape establishment and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Agriculture Engineering, Horticulture, Agronomy, Landscape Architecture).
• 5+ years drafting experience; infrastructure/landscape project exposure preferred.
• Practice Engineer registration in Abu Dhabi (Mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all agricultural and softscape works including planting, soil preparation, turfing, and landscape establishment.
• Ensure irrigation systems, planting works, and horticultural activities follow approved drawings and standards.
• Monitor site progress and ensure timely execution of agricultural works per project schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Inspect plants, materials, and inputs for quality and compliance.
• Oversee irrigation installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance on planting techniques, soil conditioning, and plant care.
• Handle, transport and store plants and materials properly.
• Implement pest control, fertilization and plant maintenance programs as required.
• Monitor survival rates and establishment success of planting works.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site inspections.

The Senior Project Engineer (Agriculture) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising agricultural and softscape works within landscape projects, ensuring successful implementation of planting, irrigation systems, soil preparation, and related horticultural activities. The role ensures that all agricultural works are executed in accordance with project specifications, technical standards, and approved designs. The Project Engineer provides on-site technical support, monitors quality and progress, and coordinates with project teams, consultants, and suppliers to achieve efficient, healthy, and sustainable landscape establishment and maintenance.

Key Accountabilities
