Role Objective :
- Manage the site execution of the project to ensure completion within the specified time, cost, productivity, and quality requirements, while adhering to the company’s quality and safety standards, under the guidance of the Project Manager and Electrical Manager.
- Efficiently assign and distribute available resources, materials, subcontractors, and equipment on the project.
- Assist in introducing new construction methods, equipment, and machinery to improve MEP services.
- Ensure that Electrical or Mechanical work on the assigned project is completed within budgeted time, cost, and quality standards.
- Optimize manpower, equipment, and material allocation, and minimize waste on the site.
- Assign responsibilities to on-site staff as directed by the Project Manager and MEP Manager.
- Supervise staff and non-staff attendance and productivity.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with the construction schedule.
- Assist in preparing construction schedules, manpower histograms, submittal logs, and drawing logs, in coordination with construction staff and planning & cost control units.
- Help prepare two-week look-ahead schedules for project implementation.
- Coordinate with MEP Manager and Project Manager on project submittals and drawings.
- Interface with suppliers to verify receipt of materials.
- Issue material requisition forms in collaboration with Project and MEP Managers.
- Oversee purchase and delivery of materials, managing site store inflow/outflow with Procurement.
- Attend weekly meetings with Project Manager, Electrical Manager, and Site Engineers for planning.
- Coordinate with consultants and supervisors on site-related matters, maintaining good relations.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to engineers and foremen as directed by Project and Electrical Managers.
- Assist in recruiting and training personnel within the Electrical department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in MEP project management, preferably in construction.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or LEED accreditation is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
- Proven experience managing complex projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software.
- Ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
