Amazon Payments operates the software platform processing 20 payment methods/products across MENA and APAC. The MENA and APAC Payments Team is part of the larger Payments Division, encompassing product management, software development, and business/technical operations. The team manages payment business development, products, performance, and customer experience, collaborating with internal stakeholders (retail, digital businesses, marketing, checkout, customer service, finance, legal, risk, etc.) and external payment partners including banks.
The role will lead strategic benchmarking programs that drive payment business growth and enhance customer experience. As a Senior Program Manager, you'll identify opportunities and drive decisions to improve payment access, affordability, affinity, and trust across multiple markets.
Ideal candidates are motivated self-starters who can work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, grasping the complexities of Amazon's payment offerings and internal systems, demonstrating analytical and decision-making skills, with a proven track record of driving programs to completion. Experience in the payments or prepaid card industry is preferred.
