Job summary

Zayed University invites applications for Arabic Language for professorial faculty within the General Education Programme. We seek candidates who can teach semi specialized Arabic classes, Arabic communication skills labs for native Arabic speakers, and novice to advanced levels for non-native speakers. There are multiple positions available across both the Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses.

The expected start date is August 2026. Qualified candidates will hold a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Modern Standard Arabic at university level is required.
• Ability to develop pedagogical materials and use active learning pedagogy.
• Experience with international or bilingual teaching environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach semi specialized Arabic classes across levels.
• Lead Arabic communication skills labs for native Arabic speakers.
