Role Summary

Consulting segment serves the oil & gas industry in developing reservoir-driven solutions covering the full asset life cycle, from the earliest phases of project development through abandonment. The professional that GCea is seeking for will be responsible for evaluating Oil and Gas projects as a Petroleum/Production engineer and making evaluations of the development feasibility of the project. As a consultant, he will handle special projects, as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Using industry-standard software tools for interpretations.
  • Recommending activities like zonal shut-off and gas lift valves.
  • Optimizing injection and production for clients.
  • Providing production technology input to projects.
  • Designing lower completions and optimize asset models.
  • Conducting production-pressure analysis (PTA & RTA).
  • Performing economic analysis for production enhancement.
  • Collaborating in a multidisciplinary team and travel 20-30% of the time.
  • Data Analysis and Programming:

  • Developing Power BI dashboards for gas lift and production analysis.
  • Creating interactive dashboards to monitor production trends.
  • Analyzing gas lift data to optimize operations.
  • Integrating gas lift data into Power BI for insights.
  • Applying Python for advanced well modeling analysis.
  • Developing software for Gas Lift Design using Excel and VBA.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in Reservoir navigation services and LWD formation evaluation

  • Have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering

  • Have strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib).
  • Have Proficiency in data analysis and visualization

    Display strong oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.

  • Have excellent problem solving skills with a drive for results
