Senior Product Owner - Cards

Our client, one of the leading digital banks in the region, is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Product Owner to oversee the development and improvement of their Cards and Accounts portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of digital banking products, a customer-first approach, and a strong history of successful product ownership in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a detailed product plan for Cards and Accounts that aligns with the company's goal of transforming banking for all.
• Collaborate closely with teams across engineering, design, marketing, and external partners such as payment networks, global wallets, providers, and vendors.
• Advocate for a customer-centric approach, ensuring product designs and features enhance user experience and satisfaction.
• Ensure all products comply with the regulatory requirements set by the Central Bank of the UAE and other relevant regulatory bodies.
• Define key performance metrics (OCRs) to track product performance and drive improvements based on data insights.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product ownership roles within the banking or fintech sectors, particularly focusing on Cards and Accounts.
• In-depth expertise in program implementations, authorization, settlements, 3DS and OOB, tokenization, card lifecycle management, personalization, and card restrictions.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in agile methodologies and product management tools.
