Edison Smart® in Dubai, UAE, is hiring a Senior Product Manager for BNPL Merchants to own the merchant-facing product experience end to end. You will drive activation, onboarding, and integration while partnering with Engineering, Design, Commercial and Merchant Success to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will shape a roadmap to boost merchant conversion, engagement and performance, balancing merchant and consumer needs in a dynamic fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of digital products.
• Experience in BNPL, payments, checkout, merchant platforms or related fintech products.
• Experience building B2B2C products where the merchant is the customer but the end consumer is affected.
• Strong analytical capability using funnel, cohort and behavioural data to identify problems and opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management across Commercial, Engineering, Design and Merchant Success.
• A strong product mindset to understand the underlying customer and business problem.

Senior Product Manager, BNPL Merchants Buy Now, Pay Later / Consumer Fintech | Dubai, UAEHybrid | Product & Engineering

The business has built a significant and growing merchant network, helping consumers split purchases into interest-free instalments at checkout while enabling merchants to increase conversion, average basket size and customer purchasing power. The Product organisation is structured around multiple focused, independently shipping squads, with several product hires being made concurrently. This is a genuine period of team expansion and product investment, rather than a routine backfill. The successful candidate will join at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to have meaningful ownership over a product area that sits directly at the intersection of merchants, consumers, payments and fintech.

The Opportunity

As Senior Product Manager, BNPL Merchants, you will own the merchant-facing product experience end to end. Your focus will be on making it easier and more valuable for merchants to adopt, integrate and actively use the BNPL proposition, from initial activation and checkout integration through to ongoing engagement and repeat usage. You'll work closely with Engineering, Design, Commercial and Merchant Success to identify opportunities, define the product strategy and turn merchant needs and data into products that deliver measurable business outcomes. This is a highly cross-functional role where your decisions will directly influence both merchant growth and the consumer checkout experience.

What You'll Own

• Own the merchant product experience, including activation, onboarding, integration and the drivers of merchant adoption and repeat usage.
• Define and execute a product roadmap focused on improving merchant conversion, engagement and commercial performance.
• Partner closely with Engineering and Design to build and ship products that make it simpler for merchants to integrate BNPL into their checkout and operational workflows.
• Work with Commercial and Merchant Success to turn merchant feedback, market insight and customer needs into clear product priorities.
• Analyse funnel, cohort and behavioural data to identify friction throughout the merchant journey and develop solutions that improve activation and retention.
• Balance merchant requirements with the needs of the end consumer, recognising the B2B2C nature of the product.
• Work within an agile, independently shipping product squad and take ownership from problem discovery through to delivery and measurable impact.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of Product Management experience, with strong ownership of digital products from discovery through delivery.
• Direct experience in BNPL, payments, checkout, merchant platforms or related fintech products is highly desirable.
• Experience building B2B2C products, where the merchant is the customer but the end consumer is ultimately affected by every product decision.
• Strong analytical capability, with the ability to use funnel, cohort and behavioural data to identify problems, prioritise opportunities and demonstrate product impact.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly across Commercial, Engineering, Design and Merchant Success.
• A strong product mindset, with the ability to move beyond feature requests and understand the underlying customer and business problem.

Nice to Have

• Experience within a high-growth fintech or payments business, particularly across MENA or other emerging markets.
• Experience working on credit, risk, underwriting or other credit-adjacent products.
• Experience working with merchants, marketplaces, payment providers or other complex commercial ecosystems.
