Role Summary

As a Senior Product Developer, you’ll own the technical development process from initial concept through to final production. You will work hand-in-hand with Design, Sourcing, and Merchandising to ensure each product delivers exceptional fit, functionality, and quality, aligned with our brand standards. This role requires deep expertise in garment construction, fabric performance, and activewear innovation, along with a strong understanding of the athlete’s needs.

You’ll play a critical role in translating creative concepts into high-performance garments by leveraging your technical knowledge in materials, construction, fit, and testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fit sessions and provide clear, actionable technical feedback to factories and pattern makers.
  • Review and approve prototypes and pre-production samples, ensuring alignment with tech pack specifications, fit standards, and construction requirements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot construction or performance issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Maintain consistency across fits, blocks, sizing, and grading standards.
  • Benchmark key competitors, analyze market trends, and contribute to innovation through product testing and comparisons.
  • Drive and organize wearer trials to validate product comfort, durability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with Design from the concept phase, advising on suitable fabrics, construction techniques, and trims.
  • Ensure products meet internal and external testing standards, including evaluation of fabric and garment test reports.
  • Stay hands-on and connected to fitness culture, with a genuine passion and personal understanding of performance apparel needs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, specifically within activewear or performance apparel.
  • Expert knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabric performance, and production processes.
  • Proficient in systems as (Adobe Illustrator, Excel, or PLM systems).
  • Strong experience leading fit sessions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Deep passion for training and fitness, ideally with hands-on experience using performance gear.
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities while maintaining technical accuracy and innovation.
