Job summary

Parser in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Product Designer to define and ship AI-powered mobile experiences for a global marketplace. You will lead the end-to-end design process from discovery to launch, collaborating closely with product, engineering and data teams to deliver compelling user experiences.

The role requires 8+ years of UX experience, deep knowledge of conversational AI surfaces, and mobile-first design for fragmented sessions.

Qualifications

How will you impact?

Building conversational AI is easy; inventing a brand-new interaction model that replaces conventional search-and-filter entirely is where the real challenge lies. In this role you will define how users converse with a live, high-consideration consumer marketplace on a mobile device, reaching real decisions without ever dropping back into conventional search-and-filter patterns. You will bridge the gap between advanced backend LLM capabilities and a seamless one-handed mobile interface, pioneering brand-new conversational interaction models from the ground up.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Lead the end-to-end design process, from discovery and problem definition through to prototyping, testing, iteration and launch.
• Shape intuitive AI-powered experiences, translating sophisticated capabilities into simple, natural and engaging customer interactions.
• Design exceptional mobile-first journeys that make it effortless for customers to explore, refine their needs and take meaningful action.
• Reimagine key digital experiences across search, personalisation, account journeys and new ways for customers to interact with products.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering and Data to solve complex problems, explore ideas and rapidly bring high-quality experiences to life.
• Bring a strong eye for visual and interaction design, using thoughtful details, motion and micro-interactions to create polished, distinctive experiences across mobile and web.
• Prototype, experiment and iterate at pace, using customer feedback, behavioural insights and data to continuously improve the product and influence its future direction.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 8+ years of product design/UX experience with a strong track record of shipping end-to-end digital products to market.
• Demonstrable experience designing shipped or rigorously prototyped conversational AI / LLM surfaces (beyond standard chat widgets or wrapper features).
• Deep mobile-first interaction craft tailored for fragmented sessions, thumb ergonomics, perceived latency, and resumability.
• Fluent understanding of LLM capabilities and trade-offs (streaming, structured output, tool use, memory, latency, and failure modes).
• Proven ability to operate comfortably without rigid briefs, executing rapid explorations, and discarding directions in a fast-changing environment.
• Must currently reside in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• Experience with live-data prototyping tools or multimodal/voice interaction design.
• Proven success designing consumer-facing digital products, including e-commerce, marketplaces, or other high-engagement B2C platforms.
• Experience designing for the MENA market, including Arabic RTL interfaces and multilingual code-switching.

Hybrid - this role requires two to three days a week at the office.
