Job summary

Aldar Education in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Specialist - Procurement to support its growing family of schools in Abu Dhabi. This role offers a chance to influence procurement strategy across multiple schools, managing suppliers, and driving value through competitive purchasing and timely delivery.

You will establish strategic supplier relationships, lead tendering, negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliant purchasing in line with policy, including ERP Oracle

Qualifications

• Minimum graduate level degree or related procurement qualification; CIPS would add value.
• Minimum 6 years of procurement experience in the region; education sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control external suppliers; focus on commercial terms.
• Ensure goods and services are purchased at competitive prices and delivered on time.
• Establish strategic supplier relationships aligned with company needs.
• Oversee tendering of key areas and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor vendor performance and conduct supplier audits.
• Prepare purchase orders, schedules, expedite orders as needed.
• Develop and maintain vendor database; spend analysis and insights.
• Plan and monitor delivery to schools; ERP/Oracle knowledge required.
