Position Purpose:
The Operational Procurement Specialist is responsible to deliver and manage end-to-end procurement activities through RFQ, Purchasing and Ordering routes, and supply base management activities, ensuring value delivery, efficiency, and compliance. Experience as a Buyer, procuring software platforms.
Core Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive value through outstanding sourcing performance and supplier relationships
- Conduct end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier selection, RFx documentation, negotiation and award
- Lead negotiations for relevant transactions with suppliers on various levers such as specification, prices, delivery schedule and compliance to endorse the best bid
- Report procurement performance (savings, timescales, efficiency, compliance) for the relevant category and activities in line with agreed score cards, metrics and targets
- Conduct contract management activities, including contract administration, ordering and receiving, payment documentation, and amendments
- Provide recommendation to procurement leadership to process supplier invoices after performing due diligence against purchase orders and contract agreements
- Deliver supply base management activities, including supply market research and supplier registration in liaison with strategic procurement specialists
- Conduct supplier master data management activities, specifically cleaning vendor records, updating and enhancing supply base.
- Provide “help-desk” services to both key business users and suppliers to improve operational procurement delivery and address bottlenecks in achieving business objectives.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Management or equivalent. CIPS certification will be an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in a procurement role with emphasis on processes and systems
