About this role:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement strategies specific to construction and landscaping projects.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, from requisition to delivery, including RFQs, tender evaluations, negotiation, contract award, and purchase order issuance.
• Identify and qualify vendors and subcontractors, conduct supplier audits, and establish strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services in alignment with project schedules and budget.
• Utilize SAP ERP for PR/PO creation, vendor master data management, GRN, and invoice processing.
• Monitor procurement workflows through SAP to ensure efficiency and transparency.
• Evaluate supplier performance against KPIs such as quality, delivery, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Finance to meet procurement requirements.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure best value sourcing.
• Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Review and update procurement documentation, reports, and records in the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Support and mentor junior procurement team members.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for inventory planning and materials tracking.
• Assist in contract preparation and management, including legal and commercial terms.

• Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
• Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
• Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
• Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
• Professional certification preferred (e.g., CIPS, PMP, CSCP, or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 - 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably within construction and landscaping sectors.
• At least 5 years in a senior procurement or purchasing officer role in the UAE.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems: Preferably SAP and or Oracle Fusion
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of construction and landscaping materials, equipment, and market vendors.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost-control mindset.
