We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager to lead and manage all procurement activities for our high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on procurement experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of sourcing, vendor management, cost control, and materials planning for high-rise residential and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Plan and manage procurement for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services specific to high-rise construction.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules while maintaining quality standards.
  • Establish long-term supplier relationships and performance monitoring systems.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting:
  • Analyze market trends to forecast material costs and availability.
  • Work closely with the cost estimation and finance teams to ensure procurement within project budgets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and strategic sourcing.
  • Contract Management:
  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts, purchase orders, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procurement policies.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, architects, and consultants to align procurement schedules with construction activities.
  • Monitor material delivery schedules to prevent project delays.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify procurement risks related to materials availability, price volatility, and logistics.
  • Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing options.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA in Supply Chain or Project Management is a plus).
  • Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on high-rise buildings.
  • Deep knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and vendor ecosystems.
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience in managing large-scale vendor contracts.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
