Job summary

King's College in Dubai seeks a Procurement Lead for Non-Medical Equipment & Supplies to drive contract management and supplier negotiations. The role requires working with Legal to draft and finalize contracts, and building a comprehensive contracts database while coordinating with end-users and logistics teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in procurement and tendering, proficiency in Oracle and Cerner, and strong cost-efficiency focus.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in procurement or related field; engineering degree acceptable.
CPP or CIPS certification is a plus.
Proficient in Oracle and/or Cerner.

Responsibilities

Provide support to the Procurement team ensuring contracts drafted and completed with Legal.
Build contracts database by retrieving contracts and historical records.
Manage contract execution with KCH end-users; act as contact for contract matters related to hospital operations.
Establish and negotiate contract terms to secure favorable conditions and maintain supplier relationships.
Prepare and issue Service Agreements and Subcontracts, Purchase Orders and Contracts with expediting/logistics coordination.
Coordinate techno-commercial bid evaluations up to PO or Subcontract award.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and assess capabilities.
Maintain and develop supplier relationships; organize pre-bid and pre-award meetings with end-users and approvals.
