Veolia Dubai is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead the design and development of process packages. You will apply 8+ years of process design experience in Oil & Gas to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

This hands-on role requires expertise in process simulations, calculations, and adherence to international standards. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specs and support efficient execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of process design experience in Oil & Gas or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of process simulations and engineering calculations.
• Familiarity with international design standards and codes.
• Experience with HYSYS/VMG for process simulation and design reviews.

To support our continued growth and project delivery, we are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team and take a leading role in the design and development of our process packages.

You will bring 8+ years of process design experience within the Oil & Gas or related industries, with strong expertise in process simulations, engineering calculations, and international design standards. This is a technically hands-on role where you will be responsible for ensuring process designs meet project specifications, applicable codes, and standards, while optimising solutions for overall cost and performance.

Position Description

The Senior Process Engineer ensures safe and economic design for the company’s range of process packages

Purpose of Role (Objectives)

Ensures the process design of our packages meets the internal and international codes & standards

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Ultimate responsibility for ensuring simulations and calculations are in compliance with project specifications, standards and design codes


• Optimise designs to minimise overall cost of company’s products


• Thorough checking of process documentation to ensure it is technically accurate


• Represents the company at HAZOP / SIL and other design meetings


• Address technical enquiries and comments from clients and 3rd parties

Skills and Duties

• Identify key process design factors through detailed review of project specifications


• Perform and review concept designs Review technical aspects of bid submissions


• Perform and review calculations required in the design of both packages and individual components


• Technical review of complex bought out item quotations


• Extensive knowledge of process simulation software and international design standards


• Provide technical guidance to junior members of the company


• Have a fundamental technical understanding of all the company’s products

Qualifications

Engineering Degree – Chemical / Process

Experience Required

8 years’ experience of process design in Oil & Gas or related Industry

Familiarity with different international standards for process design

Familiarity with HYSYS / VMG for process simulation
