Job summary

McDermott International is seeking a Principal HSE Engineer (Technical Safety / Loss Prevention) to solve highly complex problems impacting multiple projects. You will lead the discipline engineering design, review safety studies, and manage large multi-discipline teams on offshore EPC programs.

The role requires extensive offshore safety and loss-prevention experience, with a strong ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality results within schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering required.
• 20+ years oil and gas with offshore EPC experience preferred.
• Extensive safety studies and loss prevention background essential.
• Strong knowledge of offshore design and safety analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore large process-intensive EPC projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality safety deliverables and reports.
• Develop creative and cost-effective safety solutions for complex problems.
• Lead engineering teams and coordinate with multi-discipline groups.
• Review safety study scope, equipment lists, and P&IDs for correctness.
