Job summary
GEMS Education is seeking an outstanding Assistant Head Teacher – Teaching and Learning Coach to join one of our high-performing Primary schools in Dubai. This leadership opportunity is for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about raising standards, developing others, and driving excellence in teaching and learning across the school.

Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Significant experience within a Primary setting with evidence of leadership impact.
- Ability to lead teaching & learning across the Primary phase.
Responsibilities
- Support the Principal and SLT with strategic school development.
- Champion high expectations, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Lead on observation cycles, professional development, and curriculum implementation.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and demonstration lessons for teachers.
- Ensure inclusion and effective provision for SEN, ELL, and Gifted & Talented learners.
- Oversee assessment, planning reviews, and school-wide quality assurance.
