Job description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while guiding our strategic recommendations and delivering impactful campaigns
  • Overviewing and designing communication strategies and plans for overall PR.
  • Plan and execute projects from start to finish, ensuring that all deliverables are of the highest quality and always delivered on time on budget
  • Engage with clients to build trust and credibility in NNC's PR expertise, using your deep knowledge of industry trends and emerging strategies to drive impactful conversations and develop strategic recommendations
  • Initiate and pitch activities, initiatives, events, and announcements. Identify and respond to opportunities to showcase for and to clients
  • Manage the quality of the written and published PR materials, including press releases, media pitches, speeches, and talking points
  • Analyze and report on campaign results, including media coverage, social media engagement, and website traffic
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients
  • Liaising with clients regarding press campaigns, creative projects and PR solutions
  • Input for 360 comms and have an input for organizational works and flagships
  • Lead peers and supervise by providing guidance and support for PR and communications undertaken
  • Work collaboratively with team members and build strong relations with other departments
  • Attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them succeed

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record of success in managing client accounts and leading campaigns
  • 1-2 years of related Agency and Government clients experience
  • Strong knowledge of the media landscape, including relationships with key journalists and media outlets
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic PR plans that align with clients' business objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High levels of communication - both presentation, verbal and written skills
  • Need to have excellent project/program management, work planning, personal organization, and time management skills. With the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects whilst making use of internal and external resources

  • Great PR & Communication industry knowledge and experience in building influential networks
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their goals
