Job summary

Toshiba is seeking a Senior Planning & Monitoring Engineer in Abu Dhabi to oversee complete project planning and monitoring, coordinating with the project management team and functional managers, and performing delay analysis as dictated by contracts.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience in the GCC/UAE, expertise in Primavera P6, PMP/PMI frameworks, and strong leadership and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in project scheduling, cost control and delay analysis.
• Expertise in Primavera P6, EPC project management and related tools.
• Proficiency in preparing progress reports and interfaces with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Project Baseline Schedules, Project Costs, and resource allocation.
• Establish WBS, control strategy, and master schedule for planning deliverables.
• Coordinate project controls across life cycle phases: engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Monitor progress and issue mitigation plans; report delays with rationale.
• Prepare and review progress reports for internal and external reporting.
• Maintain project controls procedures, tools, and process assets.
• Utilize planning tools to ensure timelines, budgets and quality.
• Support invoicing with cost data and documentation.
• Record costs in project systems in coordination with Commercial team.
