Job description

Professional Services General Responsibilities

§ Responsible for identifying the needs and requirements of a business and translating them into clear and actionable requirements for the product development team. Works closely with stakeholders from various business units to understand their processes, systems, and workflows, and then documents these requirements in a clear and concise manner.

§ Assist in implementation of IT Applications and Systems department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

§ Work closely with product owners to meet business objectives and the needs of end-users

§ Assist in Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Job Specific Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and maintain systems used to collect and analyse business intelligence data.

· Evaluate new services and products to help with strategic decisions on new design and requirements

· Create dashboards, databases, and other platforms that allow for efficient collection and evaluation of BI data.

· Collects and stores data on sales numbers, market research, logistics, linguistics, or other behaviours.

· Understanding the key concepts of data and business analysis knowledge areas; Planning and Monitoring, Collaboration, Requirement Life Cycle Management, Strategy Analysis, Requirements Analysis and Design Definition, Solution Evaluation.

· Analysing enterprise needs, problems and goals, devising strategies and performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes and producing useful business requirement documents.

· Define the scope of a project, documenting business rules, and communicating the requirements to the development team.

· Break down complex data concepts and effectively communicate them to non-technical users Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful documents and reports.

· Ensuring solutions developed meet business needs and requirements by participating in.

· Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

· Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes, identify potential issues, and drive greater value for customers through proactive problem-solving and innovation Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.

· Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.

· Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.

· Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.

· Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.

· Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

· Providing a clean, accurate, and trustworthy dataset that can be utilized to develop and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in a scalable manner.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

§ Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess short- and long-term network capacity needs.

§ Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.

Risk and Business Continuity Management

Conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in compliance with internal policies and guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Bachelor of Science Degree in IT/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering.

· Minimum 7 - 10years of relevant experience in Data Analysis and BI solutions.

· Experience in Azure-based data platform mainly Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse

· Advanced experience in Power BI

· Knowledge of Stock Exchange business/Finance businesses and business analytics requirement is an advantage
