Wood Group is seeking an experienced PMC Specialist Rotating Engineer to lead and coordinate mechanical rotating equipment design for a major ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure compliance with codes, standards and project schedules while guiding EPC Contractors and IPMT interfaces to deliver quality results.

The role demands a minimum of 15 years in oil and gas, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and deep knowledge of international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software.
• Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical expertise in all mechanical Rotating Equipment design.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, Monitor and handle Rotating equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame.
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Rotating Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
