Wood is seeking a PMC Lead Static Engineer in Abu Dhabi to oversee the design, development, and implementation of static equipment for high-profile projects. You will ensure safety, compliance with project specs, and adherence to industry standards while coordinating with EPC contractors and ADNOC engineering teams.

The role requires a proven track record, strong leadership, and extensive experience in mechanical rotating/static systems within the oil and gas sector.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Excellent technical, team and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience and knowledge of relevant international codes and standards is required.
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software is required.
• Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for all Mechanical Rotating Engineering design activities.
• Coordinate with EPC Contractor and ADNOC Engineering/Operation teams to ensure project alignment.
• Review and approve Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor's Mechanical Rotating Engineering designs for compliance with ADNOC standards.
• Participate in design option analyses and develop optimized solutions.
• Assist in equipment sizing/selection and ensure environment and health considerations are integrated.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Provide technical expertise in all mechanical Rotating Equipment design
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, Monitor and handle Rotating equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Rotating Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Rotating Engineering. Overall coordination within IPMT Mechanical Rotating Engineering Team
• Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant’s & EPC Contractor’s Mechanical Rotating Engineering design activities
• Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work and ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and best industry practices
• Coordinate the required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models. Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to design optimization and validation.
• Participate in teams for equipment sizing / equipment selection considering optimization and standardization.
• Ensure that the facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environment and health aspects.
• Ensure full utilization of the existing facilities while optimizing the facilities required for the new projects.
• Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops.
• Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.
• Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.
• Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and provide support to Project Managers and Engineers within the Project Management Team organization
• Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers in Company's Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations Units, and Logistics Department
• Interface regularly with Contractor’s Engineering and Project Management team and discipline engineers as and when required
