Job summary

Wood is seeking a PMC Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams for large-scale oil, gas and energy projects in Abu Dhabi. You will drive planning, execution, and delivery to meet client expectations and contractual commitments.

The role requires deep understanding of project engineering, change management, and interfaces with clients and contractors. Join a global leader delivering complex projects while developing leadership and technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 15 years in a project delivery environment required.
• Experience in mega EPC/EPCm projects is required.
• ADNOC Projects/PMC experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Deep understanding of technical work scopes and commercial aspects is essential.
• Able to use conditions of contract to support decisions on schedules and change management.
• Familiar with change management practices and able to manage changes effectively.
• Has knowledge of standards, specifications and work practices across engineering disciplines.
• Experience delivering to internal customers across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering inputs across multiple execution centers.
• Develop and enforce project engineering manpower plans and scopes.
• Interface with discipline managers for resource allocation.
• Create and implement work plans for disciplines and inter-discipline interfaces.
• Ensure quality and compliance of engineering deliverables before customer issue.
• Drive design verification, change management and risk mitigation.
• Supervise technical professionals and manage a large 50+ member team.
