Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead Contract Engineer to support ADNOC Offshore Umm Shaif Gas Cap Phase 1. Lead contract administration, commercial management and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

The role provides contractual leadership to the PMC, ADNOC and EPC teams, ensuring compliance with ADNOC requirements and project procedures, while safeguarding commercial interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 15+ years of experience in contract management and administration in oil & gas.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM/PMC contracts and major construction.
• Knowledge of contract law and commercial management.
• Experience evaluating claims, variations and EOT submissions.
• Experience in large-scale oil & gas capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration and contract management for assigned packages.
• Serve as primary PMC focal point for contractual matters between ADNOC Offshore, PMC and EPC Contractors.
• Review and administer EPC, procurement, construction and service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and ADNOC requirements.
• Provide contractual guidance to PMT and stakeholders.
• Interpret contract terms and advise on rights and liabilities.
• Manage contractor correspondence on contractual issues.
• Support negotiations of amendments, variations and agreements.
• Evaluate change requests and assess impacts.
• Manage Change Management process and documentation.
• Assess EOT submissions and entitlements.
• Evaluate contractor claims for delays or disruptions.
• Prepare contractual assessments and responses to claims.
• Support dispute resolution and risk mitigation.
• Maintain records of communications and notices.
• Participate in risk assessments and mitigation planning.
