Job summary

VentureOne is seeking a Product Manager/Senior Manager with strong hands‑on experience in seawater reverse osmosis desalination and ceramic membrane systems. You will work with research, engineering and commercial teams to reflect plant requirements in the membrane product and design pilots around critical KPIs.

You will own the product roadmap, drive scale-up and commercialization, and define pilot scopes with KPI success criteria.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
Strong hands‑on experience in seawater reverse osmosis desalination plants.
Direct experience operating, commissioning, optimizing or troubleshooting membrane systems.
Strong understanding of RO systems and upstream pretreatment processes.
Direct experience with ceramic membrane systems, including operation, piloting, commissioning or troubleshooting.
Experience with pilot or demonstration systems in real operating environments.
Strong understanding of membrane performance, fouling, cleaning strategies and hydraulic considerations.
Ability to assess product/system designs from an operational perspective for improvements.
Experience defining KPIs, testing protocols, and performance criteria.
Comfortable working with customers and plant/O&M teams.
Product management experience in water tech or industrial equipment.
Exposure to scaling a membrane/ceramic product from lab to commercial production.
Lifecycle cost modelling (CAPEX and OPEX).
Vendor-side experience with OEMs/technology suppliers/EPCs.

Responsibilities

Own the product definition and evolution of the ceramic membrane solution.
Bring a strong plant-operations perspective to product and system design.
Collaborate with research and engineering to translate requirements into improvements.
Own the product roadmap and support scale-up and commercialization from pilot to full deployment.
Define pilot scope, KPIs and success criteria for customer-relevant performance.
Anticipate operational challenges and incorporate them into design and pilots.
Support pilot commissioning, operation and performance assessment with customer feedback.
Engage with customers, plant operators and O&M teams to translate needs into requirements.
Support scale-up and commercialization with broader customer implementation.
