Job summary

Confidential AI Hiring is seeking a Senior Product Manager for AI Governance (Data Layer & Intelligent Systems). This hybrid role based in Cairo with travel to Abu Dhabi/Dubai focuses on building a scalable data layer and intelligent features for an AI governance platform, ensuring security, compliance, and explainability.

You will own the product roadmap, collaborate with engineering, data science, security, and legal teams, and drive delivery of ML/AI-enabled governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in technical platforms.
• Experience launching complex enterprise software.
• Strong background in data engineering/architecture/science.
• Hands-on with Python, SQL, APIs, big data and ML pipelines.
• Cloud-native architectures across AWS/GCP/Azure with data/AI services.
• Experience with AI/ML models, generative AI, and agent-based systems.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data ethics, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, and delivery of the core data layer for an AI governance platform.
• Translate regulatory and ethical AI requirements into features such as model auditability, lineage, and metadata tracking.
• Oversee data quality, provenance management, and intelligent policy automation.
• Coordinate model training, infrastructure management (GPU/CPU).
• Oversee agentic and generative AI tools for governance use cases (explainability, drift detection, access controls).
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, security, legal, and compliance to ensure timely, secure delivery.
• Define product roadmap, prioritize features, and manage sprints/releases.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and maintain velocity under pressure.
• Engage with clients/stakeholders to ensure product-market fit; contribute hands-on when needed.
