Senior Platform Architect (SAP BTP, AWS, Microservices) (m/f/d) - Remote & Dubai (50:50) + Berlin (sporadically)

Your qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a platform architect or equivalent role with enterprise-grade cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP, including Cloud Foundry, Kyma runtime (Kubernetes-based), and SAP API Management.
• In-depth experience with AWS services
• Proven track record of designing and implementing microservices architectures, including service discovery, API gateway patterns, security, and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of REST, OAuth2, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to produce architectural diagrams, documentation, and decision records in a clear and concise manner

Your tasks

• Architect and design cloud-native, scalable, and resilient platforms using SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Kyma) and AWS.
• Define and enforce best practices for microservices architecture, API design, and cloud integration patterns.
• Lead the adoption and governance of SAP API Management and API-first strategies across the enterprise.
• Design integration strategies between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring interoperability and security.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, DevOps, and security to ensure platforms meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Oversee the lifecycle of platform components, including deployment pipelines, monitoring, logging, and cost optimization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, serverless, event-driven architectures) and propose adoption strategies.
• Provide technical leadership in cloud migration, multi-cloud strategy, and hybrid cloud setups (SAP BTP + AWS).
• Produce high-quality architecture documentation, diagrams, and design guidelines for developers and stakeholders
