Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a senior Consultant in Plastic and Microvascular Surgery to lead complex reconstruction in Dubai. The role emphasizes microsurgical technique, free tissue transfer, and collaboration with oncology, orthopedics, ENT, trauma, and vascular services.

The candidate will oversee perioperative planning, patient counselling, and long‑term follow-up, delivering high standards of surgical safety and outcomes in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Specialist or Consultant qualification in Plastic Surgery.
• Fellowship or equivalent recognized certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Extensive experience in Microvascular and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Valid UAE license or DHA licensure eligibility.
• Proven ability in complex microsurgical reconstruction.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex microvascular and reconstructive surgical procedures at consultant level.
• Undertake free tissue transfer and microsurgical reconstruction where clinically indicated.
• Manage patients requiring breast reconstruction following oncological surgery.
• Provide head and neck reconstruction for post‑tumor resection or trauma cases.
• Perform limb reconstruction for traumatic or oncological defects.
• Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative assessments and patient counselling.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams (oncology, ENT, orthopedics, vascular, anesthesia).
• Monitor post‑operative care and flap viability; manage complications.
