Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler/Planner in Abu Dhabi to lead baseline scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for complex power transmission and distribution projects. You will develop detailed schedules, coordinate across engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and present progress to clients and project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or technical degree required.
• 6–10 years of scheduling/planning experience in EPC/IT/energy projects preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project is essential.
• Strong knowledge of WBS, scheduling logic, and critical path analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Develop detailed engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning schedules.
• Establish milestones and critical path activities; create WBS.
• Monitor progress and compare with baseline; recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports; present to managers/clients.
• Manage resource loading and identify shortages; optimize utilization.
• Evaluate EOT claims and develop recovery plans.
• Coordinate shutdowns and energization activities; ensure prerequisites are met.
