Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services in the UAE is seeking a qualified Planning Engineer (Civil) to manage planning and scheduling for road, bridge and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years' UAE experience on bridge and roads projects and a strong working knowledge of authorities procedures and standards.

You will prepare project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, coordinate with site teams and stakeholders, monitor progress, and support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 5 years UAE experience in planning for Bridge, Roads and Infrastructure construction projects.
Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
Bilingual in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, covering all construction phases.
Prepare look-ahead programs, progress reports, and recovery plans.
Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to align with baselines.
Analyze critical path, float, and resource allocation to optimize timelines.
Support claim preparation, EOT analysis, and delay impact assessments.
