The Key Objectives For This Role Are
- Preparing and maintaining comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test results and certificates
- Collaborating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders for seamless integration and communication
Responsibilities
Executing Assigned Scopes of Work:
- Participate as a team member in specific phases of engineering assignments
- Prepare documentation for projects
- Ensure project completion within budget and schedule
- Define engineering approaches, plan, and schedule work
- Evaluate problems, organize investigations, and establish performance specifications
- Check calculations and drawings according to industry standards; mentor less senior professionals
- Adhere to procedures and provide feedback for improvement
- Participate in audits and incident investigations
- Perform complex engineering tasks for major projects
- Participate in site visits, design reviews, and workshops
Providing Discipline Expertise
- Develop new approaches and exercise professional judgment in evaluating options
- Modify guidelines and develop innovative solutions for complex problems
- Function as a technical leader on major projects
- Anticipate problems and solve complex issues creatively
- Understand customer needs and apply technical solutions accordingly
- Support proposals with technical input
Supporting and Supervising Task Delegation
- Supervise small teams or provide guidance in area of expertise
- Assist in managerial tasks like task assignment, planning, and resource management
- Coordinate activities of engineering groups on small projects
- Manage project aspects including cost, schedule, and resources
- Ensure HSSE compliance and safety standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
- Minimum 10 years relevant scheduling/planning experience
- Knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling tools, including logic, CPM analysis, resource loading, and leveling
- Understanding of project management principles, cost management, change control, planning, and risk analysis
